ADA Website compliance

We are aware of the ADA WCAG 2.1 Standards and are working with our webservers and hosts for continued updates as necessary.

We monitor this website to make sure it is operating properly.

Actions we have taken:
1.  Mobile site compatible.
2.  Website operational without a mouse.
​3.  Our links are equally spaced apart for easy access.
4.  Our text and background are dissimilar enough that it can be read by someone with limited sight.
5.  Communication lines are open with our reservation system manager to ensure proper updates will continue to allow our website to work properly.

We maintain membership with the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association to keep abreast of law changes and take advantage of their legal services.

In Texas, the Department of Licensing and Regulation enforces ADA and has adopted its own version which became effective March 14, 2012.
  "Architectural issues covered by the code include:  entrances, door widths, restroom sizes/fixtures, elevators, signs, parking, etc.   Texas requirements apply to newly constructed or substantially renovated buildings.   Public owned/leased buildings are covered by the requirements while private single family residences are not.  Privately owned buildings considered 'public accommodations' are also covered by the law.  Examples of buildings considered to be public accommodations:  An inn, hotel/motel or other place of lodging EXCEPT a lodging with  no more than five rooms for rent that is also the residence of the proprietor (for example a bed-and-breakfast)"
