The Dr. E. L & Nancy Walker Recorded Texas Historic Landmark home owners have been privileged to serve the community with various events through the years including non-profit fundraising activities either onsite or in the downtown area:  Hwy 80 Car Cruise, Holiday Tour of Homes, Gladewater Art Stroll,  Business owners appreciation dinner, East Texas Area Chamber Luncheon/Meeting, Gladewater Garden Club, Bricks-in-Bloom, GADA Annual Holiday Open House, GADA fundraisers, and Annual Mother's Day Tea.

May - Annual Mother's Day Tea always the Saturday of Mother's Day Weekend  10am until Noon

August - Annual Downtown Art Stroll - always the 2nd weekend

September - Annual Downtown Arts and Crafts Faire - 3rd weekend
